You know making all the changes to obey the Commands from God will feel more natural the more you try and do it. It will be a gradual process and for the Elect, the feeling will be a sense of belonging. In your heart you will say, this is home, this is me, this is what I should of been doing all along. Your natural state is to be close to God.
Remember Your Past
When Israel was being freed from bondage in the land of Egypt, they were told to remember their deliverance. You too during this change into following the Commands of God, remember that this is deliverance. Deliverance from sin, from Babylon the Great, from death itself. The moment you set your heart to understanding the commands of God and following them, your whole life outlook changes. Something happens, you are touched by the Holy Ghost.
Ask Forgiveness
Let the process work, God will mold you into what you should be. His child! You will fail, that is certain, but fail forward. Ask for forgiveness everyday, several times a day. When something enters your mind from your sinful past, ask for forgiveness. You are not alone in battling these thoughts that creep up from time to time. Things that may even embarrass you or things you want no one else to ever know. Confess these to God and ask for forgiveness. Let the tears roll down your cheeks as God cuts out all the bad parts and put His love in its place. Do not be afraid to get emotional and be brokenhearted, let the process work. Experience the love and forgiveness of God.
Sin No More
Yeshua, after healing people, He would tell them, "Sin no more". When you confess your sins to God, expect nothing but forgiveness. No matter what you have done or what you have been doing, you can be confident that you are forgiven by God. Yet, a warning, sin no more! Is this impossible? If it were impossible why would Yeshua tell people to sin no more?
Study
Study Torah, study the prophets, Study the Gospels and the writing from the Apostles. Be humble, be slow, be careful. Understand that sin is breaking God's commandments. So in order for you NOT to sin, you must know what they are. Hint: Breaking the speed limit is NOT a sin! The only way you are going to know what sin is, is study! Do not rely on others to do it for you. We have a head start to help you in your journey, the password is "i will obey" all lowercase letters and include the spaces. This document includes all of God's Commands mentioned in the Bible. You will find it very different from what you have been told if you are fresh out of Christendom.
Be Patient
Be patient with yourself. It took you a long time to get to where you are now. Yet, with God's help, you will be able to make the transformation to the true faith and become a true follower of Yeshua the Messiah. People will be able to identify you as such as soon as they gaze upon you. Take every opportunity to share what you are learning, and if people do not want to hear it, then tell them not to ask. But you, but you, keep on learning about "The Way"! You have all you need right now!
