Do you ever listen to people talking about God and their relationship with Him? It's almost like a fiction novel. Their face goes into this state of imagination like making up a story and not relating a story. God is truly a part of their imagination and fantasy; and to pick up on anything organic or real is a far cry from reality.

Biblical Stories

As you read the Scriptures you begin to pick up on the real and organic nature of God.

Abraham & Lot

Think of the story with Abraham and Lot. Here we have a situation where God announces to Abraham what He is going to do with the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. It's not good either, He is going to totally annihilate them. In Abraham's mind he was terrified, his nephew Lot was there. He then engages God in a conversation trying to get Him to spare the city on account of righteous men, yet the only righteous man there is Lot.

Moses and Israel

The relationship of God and Moses was real and organic. Think of the times that Moses was terrified that God was going to destroy Israel because of their grave sins. In fact one time God told Moses I will destroy them and make my covenant with you. Moses was terrified and responded saying; "What will people say that God delivered Israel from Egypt to kill them in the desert..?".

Israel

Just think of Israel in general throughout the ages. Seldom keeping God's Commands, always going astray and having to be brought back in line with truth and righteousness. Again, showing God's forgiveness and mercy and the need to maintain righteousness and justice. This is real this is organic and not a fanciful imagination of the mind.

Hallucinating God's Existence

One of the arguments unbelievers make is that believers are hallucinating God's existence. I couldn't agree more. God is not whatever someone imagines Him to be, He is what His actions have revealed Him to be in the Scriptures. When someone sits there and tells you fanciful stories about God, it is insulting, especially if you are familiar with the Bible and the stories within and they contradict His nature.

God Is Not Your Imagination

That being said, NO, God is not your imagination unless you are worshiping false gods. If your imagination is your god, then you have robbed yourself from the truth. If you think that God is always on your side no matter what you do, then you have missed the mark. God gives life, He takes life, there is nothing more real than that.

False Pretenses

Many people make the claim that God is cruel because He kills innocent men, women and children. Is this true? How do they know that they were innocent? Right? They take this false pretense and say that they do not believe in God because of this. Now think of the insanity of that statement. If God, were cruel and He did this thing, that would give more reason to believe He exists, would it not? Are not killers highlighted all over the news? Why is this a basis for NOT believing in God?

Fear of God

Now, think of those that say they are not afraid of anything, including God. How stupid, right? However, the fear of God is loving what is righteous. These kinds of people that fear God, fear no evil, but why? Because there is no evil with God and He is all powerful. Now, if God were evil, which is impossible, evil people would fear Him. Why? Because we fear what we love. Yet, there is no evil with God but there is justice with mercy.

Repentance

Forgiveness is an integral part of this real and organic relationship with God. It is a big difference from those who hallucinate their god. We have God's #commands within the Holy Scriptures, are you following them? Yes, true, we live in an evil world yet, this gives you the opportunity to show who you belong too. Never again will you have this opportunity like you have it now. Repent from your hallucinated god and obey the commands of the True God, Yehovah! Take on His ministry, the Ministry of Yeshua. Have a trusting, obedient and faithful heart and you will do well!
