Every morning at 9:27AM another post is published. If you are not subscribed, be sure to! Jesus is coming and we want to help the Elect to be prepared for this day and the time of trouble that the LORD Jesus warned us of. Every post we make is founded on Biblical Scripture and you are welcome to challenge everything we post. We are not masters of the Faith but are slaves of it. We could get some things wrong, we are humble enough to admit that. However, the prophecies are clear. We are at the end of the Last Day!

From the very beginning of creation, the fall of both angels and mankind has been rooted in one deadly trait: ego. Pride, self-exaltation, and the desire to be like God — or even above God — have repeatedly fueled rebellion against the Most High.

Lucifer, once a glorious being, fell not because of a lack of beauty or wisdom, but because of his own inflated view of himself:

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground... For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God..." (Isaiah 14:12-13)

Core of Ego

At its core, ego seeks to dethrone God from the heart and enthrone self.

In the Garden of Eden, it was not simply curiosity that led Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit — it was the temptation, whispered by the serpent, that she could become "as gods" (Genesis 3:5). That same desire to elevate self above obedience and trust in God opened the door to sin.

In today's world the modern woman loves to point to the ego of men for our woes, but there are 3 pointing back at them. Nevermind the external braiding of the hair that Peter and Paul talked about almost 2000 years ago (1 Timothy 2:9-10 and 1 Peter 3:3-4), something much worse is here, these modern women do the most egotistical things that he would not of ever imagined! What is even worse is men encourage them to do it! Men themselves lovers of pleasure and things rather than lovers of God. I imagine that it cannot get any worse but in my 5+ decades here to witness these things coming about is heartbreaking.

Throughout human history, wars have been fought, kingdoms overthrown, families destroyed, and churches divided — all because of egos unchecked and spirits unsubmitted.

Ego Blinds Us

Ego blinds us.It convinces us that we are justified when we are not.
It leads us to hate correction, despise humility, and ultimately walk the wide road that leads to destruction.

Jesus Christ, the very Son of God, demonstrated the complete opposite of ego. He humbled Himself:

"Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant..." (Philippians 2:6-7)

If we are to follow Him, we must crucify the ego daily. We must decrease so that He may increase (John 3:30).

Ego is not just a character flaw — it is the very spirit that drives evil in the world.Where ego reigns, pride blossoms, rebellion festers, and love withers.

True victory is found not in self-exaltation, but in self-denial.
Only by humbling ourselves under the mighty hand of God will we be exalted in due time (1 Peter 5:6).

How To Humble Yourself

Humility is not going around and playing stupid in front of people. When we speak of humility here, we are speaking of humbling ourselves before God. How do we do that? We obey His commands. If you have been following these posts you know we have a head start for you to follow God's commands. The password is "i will obey" all lowercase, include the spaces.

Comfort Is The Enemy

While you are trying to get into the swing of things, comfort will be your enemy when it comes to humbling yourself before God by obeying His commands. Yes, God has a lot of Laws, Commands, Observances and Statutes that affect every aspect of your life. What you wear, how you appear, how you act will all be affected if you are not use to obeying the commands of God. It will take time to implement these things, be patient with yourself. However, do not give into comfort, comfort today is evil. "Narrow and cramped is the road that leads to life and few are the ones finding it." - Jesus. Why did Jesus tell us this? Because everyone wants everything to be comfortable and in a world of evil wicked things come by easily.

My Experience

As I have been trying to apply God's Commands in my life, I found that 99.9% of my wardrobe had to go! Most of the things we wear are mixed fabrics. Of course it is taking me time to make the change. I am learning how to sew so that my wardrobe will be either 100% cotton or linen. I've ordered tassels for my clothing as well. I keep thinking about what others will say but what should be more important to me is that I am following the commands of God that are plainly stated in His commands.

So Far Away

How did the Church get so far away from God's commands? Ego, pride and hatred. They hated the Jews so much that they were willing to change the commands of our God and that is disgusting. Being raised in an evil world makes you feel lost. When you find the commands of God and start applying them in your life, you feel found much like the "Prodigal Son". Luke 15:11-32
