Every morning at 9:27AM another post is published. If you are not subscribed, be sure to! Jesus is coming and we want to help the Elect to be prepared for this day and the time of trouble that the LORD Jesus warned us of. Every post we make is founded on Biblical Scripture and you are welcome to challenge everything we post. We are not masters of the Faith but are slaves of it. We could get some things wrong, we are humble enough to admit that. However, the prophecies are clear. We are at the end of the Last Day!

🚀 Humanity's Fascination with the Heavens

From the beginning of time, mankind has looked up at the stars in wonder. The heavens declare the glory of God (Psalm 19:1), and it's no surprise that humanity has always desired to explore them. With satellites, telescopes, and space missions, we’ve reached further than ever into God’s creation.

But there’s an important distinction to be made:
🔭 Observing space vs. 🏠 Inhabiting space.

🔭 Observation Is Biblical

Scripture frequently encourages observation of the heavens:

  • Psalm 8:3-4“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him?”

  • Genesis 1:14 – God placed the lights in the sky to be for “signs, seasons, days, and years.”

Observation leads to awe, worship, and understanding of God's creation. Studying the heavens with humility fits within a Biblical framework. The wise men observed the star that announced the Messiah (Matthew 2:1-2). Astronomy can glorify God when kept in perspective.

🛑 Inhabiting Space: A Different Matter

While observation glorifies God, the idea of inhabiting space—colonizing Mars or seeking life on other planets—raises serious theological questions:

1. The Earth Is the Domain of Mankind (for now)

  • Isaiah 45:18“God… formed the earth… he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited.”

  • Psalm 115:16“The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.”

The Earth is man’s divinely assigned home. God never gave dominion over the heavens to humanity — only over the earth (Genesis 1:26-28).

2. Sin and Death Are Localized to Earth

  • Romans 5:12“By one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men…”

  • “World” here translates kosmos, which can refer to Earth and its inhabitants — not necessarily the entire cosmos.

  • The curse in Genesis 3 specifically affects the ground (the adamah, Hebrew for Earth).

Space appears untouched by sin in terms of moral rebellion. There's no indication in Scripture that Mars, Venus, or other galaxies have fallen under Adam’s curse. Thus, man may not have the right or spiritual authority to expand sin and rebellion beyond Earth.

🧬 The Tower of Babel Parallel

  • Genesis 11:4“Let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven…”

  • Humanity sought to elevate itself and unite under a name apart from God.

  • God intervened, dividing and scattering them.

Modern attempts to inhabit space may mirror the Tower of Babel — not in structure, but in intent: building a future apart from God, escaping the consequences of sin, and seeking immortality through science and technology.

🕊 When Will We Be Ready?

There may come a time when humanity is no longer under the curse — when sin and death are abolished.

  • Romans 8:19-23 – Creation itself groans, waiting for the revealing of the sons of God and redemption of our bodies.

  • Revelation 21:1 – After the return of Christ, a new heaven and new earth is promised.

  • Hebrews 2:5“For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.”

This suggests that a future restored humanity may have a new role in creation — perhaps even rulership over what lies beyond Earth. But not before sin and death are dealt with.

🌍 Final Thoughts

God has given us Earth as a proving ground. We are stewards of it — not conquerors of the cosmos. Until Jesus returns and restores all things, space should be observed with awe, not claimed as a refuge from judgment. We should be concentrating on observing God's #commands and maintaining the ministry of Yeshua, this is the path to salvation. For even if people inhabit Mars what good is it if they die within 70 or 80 years?
