There is one sign that Christ Jesus told us to look for that would mark the beginning of God's wrath. Additionally, this marks the end of the rule of mankind. Let's line these up, side by side.
Daniel's Prophecy
Many have a misunderstanding that these prophecies are talking about Daniel 9:27 however, that is speaking of Christ NOT the Anti-christ. However, Daniel mentions this abomination that causes desolation more than once. So let's lay them out here to see which one Christ is referring too.
The first one referring to Daniel 9:27 is referring the the Messiah. So this would not make sense that Jesus was referring to this prophecy. However, both the ones in Daniel 11:31 and Daniel 12:11 seem to have multiple fulfillments. Let's talk about these so they make sense and how we can determine from the text that the prophecy is multiple.
Daniel 11
Let's start with Daniel 11:31. We see this fulfillment in 171 B.C.E. Antiochus the 4th desecrated the Temple and polluted the altar by offering swine on it. The interesting thing about this is that the prophecy seems to leave you hanging after Daniel 11:31. Nothing makes any sense as regard the Jews or events. Everything else is fulfilled perfectly up to this point. You can read more about these fulfillments here. From Daniel 11:31 onward it seems to be speaking of the Christians and end times.
Daniel 12
This becomes more evident when we get into Daniel 12 verse 2 speaks of the resurrection, verse 9 explicitly states that it is for the time of the end. So we can conclude that Jesus was referring to Daniel 11:31 when giving that warning for the time of the end. This also had a minor fulfillment when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD {Luke 21:20}. However, we know there is a much greater fulfillment with it stating the dead being resurrected, God's people being persecuted, and Daniel even mentioning that this is for the Time of the End {Daniel 11:35, 12:13}.
Whoso Readeth Let Him Understand
Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand). Yes, you need to understand that there is a greater fulfillment of those words of Daniel. So what or who is the abomination of desolation?
The Abomination of Desolation
The abomination of desolation is none other than Apostate Christianity. How do I know?
But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. 14 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.
15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Matthew 23:13-15
Please notice this is Matthew 23 and the build up to Matthew 24 where Jesus mentions these abomination that causes desolation. Makes perfect sense that these apostate christians are the abomination just like the Scribes and Pharisees that Jesus was talking too.
Christianity Unrecognizable
If you look at Apostate Christianity today and you could bring Peter, Paul or John they would not even recognize it. How many so called Churches are keeping the commands of God? They do not even look like Christians. Women dress as prostitutes, men shave their face like pagans. Their clothing could be several different kinds of weaves and they think nothing of it. Furthermore, they hate each other, divorce is rampant. Women think they can be preachers in Churches. In fact there are some that think that our beloved brother Paul was wrong and not inspired of God. Can you believe it? The filth seems insurmountable. Even the LORD said
And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:7,8
Does this not strike you as odd? How about this scripture?
And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Genesis 6:6
God does not have much faith in mankind because of how easily they are swayed. They are easily deceived like Eve, they are naturally attracted to bad things. Now think of the Church, even in it's infancy the antichrist was present.
Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. 1 John 2:18,19
Do You See?
Now you see this abomination is apostate christianity and it is everywhere! But how can you Christian man protect yourself and your family? John tells us this as well.
Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 John 2:3-6
Be Different
What is the difference? One man follows God's commands, the other does not.
Therefore the Lord said:
“Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths
And honor Me with their lips,
But have removed their hearts far from Me,
And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, Isaiah 29:13
The LORD elaborated on this.
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. Matthew 15:18,19
Yes, the abomination comes from within the Christian Church itself! These abominations recently are being endorsed by apostate christianity standing in a Holy Place, the Christian Church! Let's go over the abominations.
- The Vatican instructed that chaste gay men could be admitted to the priesthood, says Wikipedia in 1960's
- Women were gradually allowed to preach in different Christian denominations starting in the late 19th and early 20th centuries
- Images of idols carved into the walls (Ezekiel 8:10) Idols in Church have been happening since the 3rd Century!
- Merchandising the Gospel more rampant today than any other time in History!
- Replacing God's commandments with traditions — Mark 7:7-9
- Rejecting the Sabbath and exalting man-made feast days
- Supporting sin and lawlessness while claiming grace (Jude 1:4)
- Ordaining immoral leaders or blessing what God calls sin
“They have cast away the law of the Lord… therefore, as fire devours the stubble, so their root shall be as rottenness.” — Isaiah 5:24

Getting Worse
There is no doubt that it has gotten a lot worse. So what did Jesus say? When you see the abomination that causes desolation, LEAVE! Because they now have become Babylon the Great! All these religious organizations are evil! They are not from God, they are from the Devil to deceive you! The path of the faithful can be a lonely road, take up that Cross and leave false religion!
The Two Witnesses
The two witnesses are the faithful Church. We are sent to expose these abominations of the apostate Church to try and save our brethren. You know these things are happening, these things are facts! You can observe them with your own eyes and ears!
And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Revelation 18:4,5
So LEAVE Apostate Christianity! If they are not abiding by the commands of God down to the letter then leave them! However, God has provided a way for you individually abide by His commandments. When Jesus Returns
When Jesus returns it will be real easy for Him to see who has kept the commands of God and who has not. Just from looking at a person within 2 seconds you too will be able to recognize them. From they way the look, to their dress and conduct, the difference is striking! All you have to do is follow the Laws of God and you will understand!
