In the book of Revelation, a powerful phrase appears more than once:

“Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.” (Revelation 13:10; 14:12)

These words are not simply poetic; they are a declaration—a call to endure and remain faithful when the entire world seems to fall into darkness. For the Saints, patience is not passive waiting, and faith is not blind belief. They are both active attributes of those who walk in obedience to the commandments of God and the testimony of Yeshua.

What Is Patience?

Biblical patience is not just about enduring hardship silently. It is about holding firm to the truth of God despite trials, persecution, and delay. In a world that rushes and demands instant results, the saints patiently wait for the fulfillment of God's promises, even when mocked, ridiculed, or attacked for doing so.

“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” (James 1:4)

What Is Faith?

Faith is not wishful thinking. It is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). It is trusting in the Word of God when everything around you tells you to give up. Faith looks beyond the temporary and sets its eyes on eternity.

The saints believe not only in who God is but also that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

In the Time of Tribulation

During the Great Tribulation, the patience and faith of the saints will be tested like never before. When the Beast system rises and demands worship, when the world calls evil good and good evil, when standing for truth becomes a crime—this is when patience and faith will shine the brightest.

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” (Revelation 14:12)

This is our calling:

  • To endure when others fall away.

  • To obey when others compromise.

  • To trust when others fear.

Encouragement for Today

Are you struggling? Are you weary? Do not give up. Remember, this is part of our calling. The race was never meant to be easy. The narrow path always required perseverance. But we are not alone. The same Spirit that raised Messiah from the dead lives in us and will strengthen us.

“He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:13)
