Every morning at 9:27AM another post is published. If you are not subscribed, be sure to! Jesus is coming and we want to help the Elect to be prepared for this day and the time of trouble that the LORD Jesus warned us of. Every post we make is founded on Biblical Scripture and you are welcome to challenge everything we post. We are not masters of the Faith but are slaves of it. We could get some things wrong, we are humble enough to admit that. However, the prophecies are clear. We are at the end of the Last Day!

Now, we are going to go over all the commands of our God in each and every post. We will hash tag all these posts with #commands We will cover all the commands of God the little things and the big things. Of course we consider any commend a "big thing" but I am sure you get the drift.

My Background

Although I am not important as a person, I feel the need to give you a background of sorts. Raised believing in God but was told that the "Old Testament" was not for Christians. Therefore anything in the Mosaic Law did not apply. This was rooted in me from a very early age. Like so many; and heeding Jesus Command to keep searching; I discovered I was taught wrong! Like many of you I realized Apostate Christianity antichrist had fooled me and billions of other people that the Commands of God given to Moses did not apply to a Christian. Therefore I ate pork, have tattoos, did not observe the Sabbath, wore clothes of different materials, fornicated and shaved my face clean. So, I confess my sins to you, of course if I told them all we would never get done with this paragraph.

Beards for Men

Predominantly in Western Culture, the practice is to shave the face clean or perhaps have a moustache. You have to wonder, is this natural? Of course not, isn't it obvious? For the most part, men have beards and moustaches; women don't! So let's go over the scripture commands and their applications.

1. Leviticus 19:27

"Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard."

  • This is a direct command given to Israel.

  • “Mar” in Hebrew (שָׁחֵת shachath) means to ruin or destroy.

  • This verse is commonly understood as forbidding shaving the beard or disfiguring its natural shape.

2. Leviticus 21:5 (Concerning Priests)

"They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh."

  • Priests were to remain physically unblemished and separated from pagan mourning customs.

  • Shaving the beard was associated with mourning rituals of idol-worshippers.

3. 2 Samuel 10:4-5

"Wherefore Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved off the one half of their beards... When they told it unto David, he sent to meet them, because the men were greatly ashamed..."

  • Shaving a man’s beard was a shameful act, an insult to his honor.

  • David even told them to stay in Jericho until their beards grew back—indicating the cultural and spiritual importance of the beard.

4. Isaiah 50:6 (Prophecy of Christ)

"I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair..."

  • The act of plucking the beard was a form of humiliation and persecution. They did this to Jesus Christ beard as part of the torture they administered.

Verses About Shaving as a Sign of Judgment, Shame, or Pagan Practice

1. Jeremiah 48:37

"For every head shall be bald, and every beard clipped: upon all the hands shall be cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth."

  • This is part of a judgment against Moab, showing that shaving beards was a sign of grief, destruction, and divine judgment.

2. Isaiah 15:2

"...on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off."

  • Again, a prophecy of destruction and mourning through pagan rituals.

3. Ezekiel 5:1

"And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard..."

  • God commands Ezekiel to shave as a symbol of judgment against Israel.

Christ Jesus Beard

One of the most significant facts is the Beard of Jesus Christ. This was not just any beard ladies and gentlemen. This beard was very long and in addition to that His hair was long according to today's standards, how do I know? We have pictures of it. We will address head hair in tomorrow morning's post but take a look at the #beard of Christ Jesus. There is a fold on that garment but look how far past the fold that His beard goes! That thing was massive and to think that they plucked out His beard as part of His torture is absolutely astonishing!

Anti Christ Depictions of Jesus

So, down through the centuries we have seen much imagery of our LORD Jesus Christ. Let's take a look at some of them. Keep in mind that all the Christians had the Shroud, we even have it until this day. Did they ignore His long beautiful beard? When we look at the early images of Jesus we know Antichrist was at work very early. Imagery is so powerful to humans, so let's take a look at some of these renderings of Jesus Christ. Notice how short the beard is in some renderings and even some remove His big beautiful beard altogether! {Note: you can click on those images to see a full screenshot of them}

Modern Renderings

Now, to be fair the more modern renderings have a beard on our LORD but none of them come close to that big long beautiful beard that He had that observed the command of God! Here is the most famous rendering from 1941, this is the one I grew up with.

What Does this Tell Us?

What this tells us is, that even though they all had the Shroud that revealed that big long beautiful flowing beard of His, they were willing to deceive people with art. So much so, that even when modern technology renders the image, they put another short beard on Him. I took the liberty of restoring that big long beautiful beard with the help of computer programs. First their rendering then mine.

Now that's a King beard that abides by the commands of God! {Go Ahead and print it out, hang it on your wall, save it to your device and set it as your wallpaper}

Do Not Be Deceived!

Having a beard IS NOT cosmetics or how you "feel" about yourself. These are the things that the world and deceivers would have you think. This is NOT a fashion statement, this IS the command of our God! Now, when Jesus returns, just by looking at a mans face He will be able to see whether that man has kept the commands of God or not! You do not have to be deceived, YOU KNOW that LORD practiced what HE commanded! So, get that beard growing Christian man if indeed you are a Christian man who obeys the commands of God!
