Every morning at 9:27AM another post is published. If you are not subscribed, be sure to! Jesus is coming and we want to help the Elect to be prepared for this day and the time of trouble that the LORD Jesus warned us of. Every post we make is founded on Biblical Scripture and you are welcome to challenge everything we post. We are not masters of the Faith but are slaves of it. We could get some things wrong, we are humble enough to admit that. However, the prophecies are clear. We are at the end of the Last Day!

Yeshua expels demons but the conversations between Him and the demons leave one with intrigue. First the fear of the demons, this leads one to wonder what is going on behind the scenes here? This is a genuine fear but where did it originate? What is really going on here?

Other Accounts Of Demons

When we examine other accounts of demons and devils from other sources the person they are dealing with is powerless. The narrative always puts the demon in power with the upperhand. When we contrast this for what is recorded for us in the Gospels the picture becomes a lot different.

Yeshua and the Demons: A Clash of Kingdoms

One of the most fascinating and revealing aspects of Yeshua’s ministry was His encounters with demons. These spiritual beings, invisible to the human eye yet destructive in power, recognized Him instantly — often before anyone else did.

“What have we to do with thee, Yeshua, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” — Matthew 8:29

This question reveals a realm of spiritual truths that many overlook.

The Demons Recognized Him Instantly

While the Pharisees debated His authority and the crowds wondered if He was the Messiah, demons had no doubt.

  • They called Him by name.

  • They knew His divine identity.

  • They feared His judgment.

This supernatural recognition confirms that Yeshua was not merely a prophet or teacher. Even the spiritual enemies of God acknowledged who He was.

“I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.” — Mark 1:24

Authority Without Rituals

Unlike exorcists of the time who used spells, charms, or rituals, Yeshua cast out demons with a word.

“Hold thy peace, and come out of him.” — Luke 4:35

The demons obeyed immediately. There was no struggle, no negotiation, no incantation. This shocked the people:

“What new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.” — Mark 1:27

The Demons’ Reactions: Fear and Desperation

In nearly every case, the demons reacted with:

  • Terror – They begged not to be tormented.

  • Submission – They obeyed His commands without resistance.

  • Recognition of Time – They seemed aware of an appointed future judgment.

When Yeshua approached the man possessed by Legion, they begged Him not to send them “into the deep” (Luke 8:31), likely a reference to the abyss (Greek: abussos), the place of confinement for fallen spirits.

“Send us into the swine…” — Mark 5:12

Even their requests reveal the desperation of their situation under His authority.

A Glimpse into the Unseen Battle

These encounters are more than just stories — they reveal a cosmic confrontation:

  • The Kingdom of God was invading territory long held by Satan.

  • The Messiah was reclaiming souls and exposing darkness.

  • Demons knew their time was limited — and they trembled.

Why This Still Matters Today

  1. We live in a spiritual war zone — Ephesians 6:12 reminds us we wrestle not against flesh and blood.

  2. The same authority is in the name of Yeshua today — His followers have been given power over unclean spirits (Luke 10:17–19).

  3. Discernment is critical — All sickness is demonic, but many are unaware of real spiritual oppression.

Everything evil and bad in the world is related to these demonic creatures, sickness, pain, and works of the flesh. Oh people may claim it is genetics, mutations, viruses, bacteria, natural processes and evolution. Yet, they never answer why they are here. A rat in the maze cannot tell you what made the maze, it's only objective is to find the way out. Ironic that it never looks up like we should be doing every day.

If You Could See The Spirit World

I would imagine that if you could see into the spirit world on this earth, you would never be the same again. Perhaps you would see the deception and the lies and swarms of powerful spirit creatures encompassing the earth. A battle of infamy between light and darkness, good and evil. We are told clearly that our battle is with them.

The Nature of our Battle

As we have discussed in the last post, God's way of dealing with things are much different than what we imagine. We are here to endure this evil and overcome it. Additionally, those that do will be called "The Sons of God". That being said your opportunity here is one never to be repeated. Although the world wants you to focus on the physical; your eye should be on the spiritual because, from the spiritual everything comes, good and evil.

Offence and Defense

As humans we are quite familiar with offence and defense. We are quite familiar with winning and losing. Furthermore, we are quite familiar good and evil. What does this all come down too? Identity, yes, identifying who you are, which side you are on and what team you support.

Rules in The Spirit World

Many people ask the question, why does God permit wickedness? The fact of the matter is He doesn't. Like anything there are people in charge and rules to follow that God Himself does not break. If He did break His own rules then could you trust His rules? Let's assume that Lucifer, Satan himself was put in charge in the Garden of Eden. He was given authority by God and highly trusted before he deflected. Lucifer was given the power of God, the ring of the King if you will, and his word was the word of God. Therefore, God, trusts as well. He trusts that you will do what is right and good. He does not make you do it but you do it out of your own free will that He has bestowed upon you, much like He trusted Lucifer. Yet, how could God make things right without breaking His Word, His guarentee? Doing things right, God creates a purpose and free will for the creatures that He makes. Of their own free will they choose to love Him. However, as we have seen through this great experience, some have chosen to believe the deception that evil is necessary to appreciate the good. This is Luciferian theology and it is abhorrent and evil. Yet, the Word of God cannot be broken but the wisdom of God can be appreciated in our everyday experiences. Bottom line? God never breaks His Word! Yes, even when one is entrusted with the power of God!

Final Reflection

The demons reacted to Yeshua with terror because they recognized something many humans still don’t: He is the Holy One of God with authority to judge the living and the dead.

They knew the truth — and trembled.

“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” — James 2:19
